The current members of the Route 66 Electric Vehicle Association would like to welcome you to our new web site! We are still a very small chapter of a very large organization. The Electric Vehicle Association was founded in 1967 to educate and advocate for the adoption of electric vehicles, and now has thousands of members in over 100 chapters in the United States and Canada. As the only 'virtual' chapter of the EVA, the Route 66 EVA holds its meetings online using videoconferencing, so that we can welcome members from all across the 2,448 miles of Route 66, and anywhere else in the world. If you're interested in EVs and Route 66, we encourage you to join us. We will be using our web site to keep members up-to-date on our meeting dates and times, link to recordings of these meetings after they occur, let our members know about upcoming events and other EV-related opportunities on Route 66, and more. Thank you for visiting, and we hope to see you out on the Mother Road! Pl
The Route 66 EVA is a small and entirely volunteer organization without employees, so we made the decision this year to take a short hiatus for the holiday season, to allow our members and principals more free time for the increased personal commitments that often come up during this time of year. We shall begin our monthly meetings once again in January 2023. To tide you over until then, you may peruse a small archive of some of our previous meetings, graciously hosted at Vimeo by Pat Quinn. You can see them on our new Meetings & Archive page . If you're like to get direct notice of upcoming meetings, held once per month on Saturdays, please email our chapter president Jessica May , or our Program Coordinator Jerry Asher , to be placed on the list to be notified of future meeting dates. We hope everyone has a happy and healthy holiday season. See you soon on Route 66!
