The current members of the Route 66 Electric Vehicle Association would like to welcome you to our new web site! We are still a very small chapter of a very large organization. The Electric Vehicle Association was founded in 1967 to educate and advocate for the adoption of electric vehicles, and now has thousands of members in over 100 chapters in the United States and Canada. As the only 'virtual' chapter of the EVA, the Route 66 EVA holds its meetings online using videoconferencing, so that we can welcome members from all across the 2,448 miles of Route 66, and anywhere else in the world. If you're interested in EVs and Route 66, we encourage you to join us. We will be using our web site to keep members up-to-date on our meeting dates and times, link to recordings of these meetings after they occur, let our members know about upcoming events and other EV-related opportunities on Route 66, and more.
