Join us in Kingman, Arizona

This week is National Drive Electric Week nationwide, and coming up this Saturday, October 1, the Route 66 EVA will be taking part in an event right on Route 66 in Kingman, Arizona!

Hosted by the Historic Electric Vehicle Foundation's Route 66 EV Museum, this will be Kingman's very first Drive Electric Week event. It will take place from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Kingman Powerhouse.

Join us at the Kingman Powerhouse on October 1!

The Powerhouse is the current home of the Route 66 EV Museum, as well as the Arizona Route 66 Museum, the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona, gift shops and the visitor center for the Kingman area. There are Tesla Superchargers on site, as well as a J1772 Level 2 EV charger; CCS/CHAdeMO chargers by Electrify America are only about 4 miles away.

If you can make it to Kingman this Saturday, we would love to see you! Whether you own an EV or are simply interested in seeing some interesting vehicles and learning about driving electric, everyone is welcome and there is no cost to attend. Currently registered vehicles include several models of Tesla, Chevrolet Bolt, and Ford Mustang Mach-E, in addition to the vehicles on display at the museum which include a 1930 Detroit Electric and an original 2008 Tesla Roadster.

Current EV owners: you are invited to register at the NDEW event page to participate with your car, and talk about your experiences with other owners and attendees. The more EV variety, the better! The Route 66 EV Museum will be open for free to all attendees during the event, to check out the historic and unique electric vehicles they have on display.

After the event, downtown Kingman is just a couple of blocks away with shopping and many great restaurants to visit!

The Kingman Powerhouse Visitor Center is located at 120 W. Andy Devine Ave., Kingman, AZ 86401.
